    Getting started

    Getting your bumper assessed

Show us the whole affected area

Include a close-up of the mark and a wider picture of the bumper. Point out any cracks, loose sections or damage around neighbouring panels. This helps you explain the problem before an assessment.

    Ask about the repair options

The right repair depends on the condition of your bumper. Not every damaged bumper needs replacing, and not every crack can be repaired, so ask what can be assessed and what the next step involves.

    A clearer next step

Contact the workshop with your photos and vehicle details. Discuss the proposed work, availability and expected timing before booking.

    What to tell us

    Scuffs, scrapes and cracks

Bumper damage looks different from car to car. These are the details that help most.

    Scuffs and scrapes

Paint rubbed away or marked on a bumper corner, often from a low wall, a post or another car. Photograph the whole corner, not only the worst mark.

    Cracks and splits

A crack can be small or can run along a panel edge. Show where it starts and ends, and say whether any part of the bumper feels loose.

    Damage that reaches other panels

If a knock has also marked the wing, door or lights beside the bumper, say so. It may be a different repair, or more than one. See accident damage repairs.

    Our work

    Bumper repairs from the workshop

Two examples from previous jobs. Photographs show individual repairs and were taken from different angles, so your own bumper will need its own assessment.

    Customer feedback

    What a customer said

Absolutely excellent service at a great price. Mohammed was very helpful, worked around my timescales and carried out the repairs to a great quality. Repaired a significant scuff on my car bumper, dent and scratch on car door and repaired a scuffed alloy wheel.

    Questions

    Bumper repair questions

    Does my bumper need replacing?

Not necessarily. The right answer depends on the condition of the bumper, which is why photos and an assessment come first. Ask what can be repaired and what the next step involves.

    What should I photograph?

A close-up of the mark and a wider picture of the whole bumper. Include any cracks, loose sections or marks on the panels beside it.

How much will a bumper repair cost?

The website does not publish a fixed price list. Send details of the damage and ask about the work required.

    How long will it take?

Timing needs to be discussed for the actual job. Explain the damage and any deadline when you enquire.

Is sending an enquiry the same as booking?

No. An enquiry starts the discussion. The agreed work, price and booking arrangements need to be confirmed separately.

    Where is the workshop?

Face Services is at 8 Johnstone Street, Bellshill, ML4 1DE. Contact the workshop before bringing your vehicle in.

    Other repairs

    Not just the bumper?

    Scratch repairs

Marked paintwork on a door, wing or bonnet, including vandal damage.

    Paintless dent removal

Door dings and minor dents where the original paint is intact.

    Accident damage repairs

Damaged panels and bodywork after an accident.
